Angelina Jolie, awarded the Heart of Sarajevo
The Pitt-Jolie raised expectations in every social event they attended. The Sarajevo Film Festival (Bosnia) has not been less. There, Angelina Jolie, accompanied by her partner, actor Brad Pitt, collected the Heart of Sarajevo Award.
Jolie was thrilled to receive the award and said “there is no better example of the power of artists to a festival that began during the war and gets stronger every year.”
Jolie’s first film as director and screenwriter, In the land of blood and honey, to be released later this year in the U.S. and has not been without criticism to deal with the sensitive issue of rape during the war in the Balkans , is set in Bosnia, and has been filmed in that country and Hungary.

“I’m pregnant,” says the actress. “And, for now, we will not adopt.” He adds: “Nor is there a secret wedding.”
